LCR all the way for reliability and lighter weight.
I am curious just how one can make that determination... the thing has been available for...what 6 months? dependable so far... I like the LCR and I like the dependability (TBD in the case of the LCR) of a revolver but for concealed carry it is hard to beat the kahr for concealability, capacity and effectiveness...
That said, I plan on owning both in the future.
I have an lcp and the things I like about it are it's rounded edges, the nice predictable trigger pull, and it's fired and ejected everytime i've pulled the trigger. It's the easiest gun I've ever tried to conceal carry. If you put it in a pocket, it will come right out unless your hands are too big.
It's very thin and extremely light when loaded. You'll always be able to carry this pistol. It is very accurate and mine has been reliable. If you like the looks and ergonomics of the Kahr - buy it. It's apparently a very good gun.
The LCP is not being questioned here, however since you brought it up, I would take the Kel tec any day for its better trigger and customer service. The MANUAL slide lock is not much of a selling point, I will stick to the pocket 380 that ruger copied...
