Any pros or cons to replacing the factory steel guide rod with the stainless one sold through Kahr? Thanks in advance for your help.

The only reason I can think of is cosmetic, if your slide is stainless the guide rod will match. Otherwise I don't know of any operational reason.

Ditto to usp9. I've had one for several years and see no signs of wear on it. The only possible reason besides cosmetic I can think of would be corrosion resistence.

Stainless guide rods are solid and will not bend or distort like a factory hollow guide rod. Replacing your factory plastic or hollow steel guide rod with a stainless guide rod adds extra weight under the barrel. This can help reduce recoil which in turn equals less muzzle climb when rapid firing.
