I once saw a Kahr PM9 with a belt clip attached to the slide in much the same way the Kel-Tec's do it. I never asked the guy if it was a custom job, but I'm assuming it was. Who, if anyone, makes a belt clip for the PM9?

Thanks in advance!

Probably not custom, but a "universal" Clip Draw.

No one in their right mind would make a belt clip for any Kahr. And no one in their right mnd would use one of the "universal" clip draws on their Kahr.

While it does look useful, it presents an extremely dangerous means of carry. Due to the lightness of the Kahr trigger I would never carry any of my Kahrs unless the trigger was fully protected by a holster.

Using the clip draw on a KelTec with a 12 pound trigger pull isn't the same as using one on a Kahr.

Do yourself a huge favor and get a proper holster. There are several kinds that attach to the belt with clips.

I never thought of the Kahr trigger to be light, but I do agree from a safety standpoint. Everything I carry is in a proper holster.

I actually find the Kahr trigger lite for a DAO gun, Its just long.
But in any case id NEVER carry any gun that doesn't have the trigger covered.
There was a place and i cannot remember who it was but they make a small Kydex clamshell looking device thats on a piece of Para-Cord that just clamps over the trigger only. When you draw your gun the cord is tied to your belt or something and pulls off as you draw.
Thats as minimum as id suggest.
Ive gotten into some pretty heated debates on the use of belt clips with no means of trigger coverage, And i still stand by my opinion that an uncovered trigger is a time bomb.

I've used a clip draw on a PT-111 and was surprised at how well it retained the pistol.

That said, I wouldn't use it on an auto-loader that didn't have a manual safety and have since switched to OWB carry.
