I just completed the break-in period on my PM9. 225 rounds with no problems whatsoever. Also, I am extremely surprised how accurate it is. My groupings were only slightly larger than I have with my Glock 23, Glock 27 and M&P9. I could not be more pleased. I was hoping to pocket carry the PM9. So far it definitely feels big compared to my Seecamp, but with time I will probably get more comfortable with it. With fall and winter clothing it will probably be a great pocket gun.

I appreciate others posting advice that led me to this purchase. Based on other posts, I checked it out for burrs before buying. One tiny burr did not bother me. Right out of the box 225 faultless round with 3 different types of ammo. Based on my experience I would highly recommend the PM9.

Sounds like you got a good one. :)

PM9's are really soft shooters for being so small. Good sights and easy to be accurate with. Helluva CCW pistol!

I just took my new PM9 to the range today! It's a great shooter and works like a clock, spins like a top, and shoots smooth and sweet as does it's slightly bigger brothers. It's very accurate but the small sight radius was a bit difficult to get used to. I still hit the bullseye about 50 percent of the time at 40 feet. Recoil is really light, but muzzle flip was a bit pronounced but the barrel reset to position very quickly and followup shots were extremely easy. I really like the trigger (as i've said a lot lately). It's great for what it's meant to be - a safety in lieu of an actual safety, smooth and without a hitch. If you've shot an LCR, the trigger is like that but shorter and i believe better.

For my money - Kahr's are the best pistols made right now (next to the Bulgarian Makarov I just got and had at the range at the same time). Cost does mean something since both pistols were perfect with about 200 rounds apiece.

A group of "young people" were shooting several types of pistols, one young man had 2 S&W PPK's and he was proving that not all of those misfire. He was shooting the eyes out of his targets with those things(getting off topic - my apologies). But I enjoy the guys and gals at the range - always generally very nice folks.

Good reports. They match my experience with the PM9. I decided to double the break in, and put 500 rounds through it when it was new. It never failed, which was a bit surprising being new and very tight. I did continuously lube it throughout the process.

The surprise to me was the accuracy... pretty amazing for a such compact pistol.
