I finally had the opportunity to take my PM9 for a spin at the local indoor range last night. I fired just over 250 rounds of various FMJ. No failures of any kind. Recoil was brisk, but not uncomfortable. I was expecting it to be much worse. I won't comment on accuracy as I'm very out of practice.
There's a lot to like about this gun. The size to firepower ratio is amazing. I have no problem concealing it in a front pocket holster. Rapid follow-up shots are easy with a firm grip. It shoots to the point of aim at 15 yards. External finish is up to par with other guns in the same price range.
Things that I don't care for include incredible muzzle flash. I suppose I can expect no less with a 3" barrel. Also, my specimen exhibits the moulding voids in the dust cover similar to what others have noted. I examined three other guns at the shop, and they also had the voids. Oh well. I might care more when the new gun euphoria wears off.
