Spent some time at my local gun shop today checking out small DAO auto pistols. He did not have a PM9 in stock but had the slightly larger CW40. Handled and dry fired the Kahr, Ruger LC9 and LCP, Kel Tec PF9 and P3AT, S&W Bodyguard .380. I found the trigger of the Kahr much better than any of the others. Is the trigger pull of the PM series guns the same as the CW?
The Ruger LC9 had the look and feel of a well designed and built piece but the trigger pull left much to be desired, perhaps I could get used to it. The Kel Tec guns were cheaper than the others but looked and felt poorly made. The Bodyguard had the hardest trigger pull of all but seems to be put together well.
Dealer offered to order me a PM9 at a very fair price but of course still quite a bit more than the Ruger. Anyone actually own/fired both of these guns? Confirm that the trigger pull of the PM is nice and smooth like the CW? Is the Kahr worth the premium over the Ruger?
Thanks
