Got my Daly 'Field' HiPower clone from CDNN on Friday, and put 100 rounds of softball (125gr lead RN @ 950fps) thru it.

The XS sights are terrific, and the trigger (while heavy) isn't that much worse than any other MkIII I've shot. The finish is plain and the grips basic. The frame rails had a few visible distortions on the sides, but nothing that would appear to cause functional issues; it's just not as finely forged as 'the real deal'. It has a rowel hammer and extended thumb safety; I prefer those on my HPs and was pleased to not have to contemplate 'upgrading' the pistol with these features.

It was reasonably accurate shooting offhand and cycled everything just fine. About my only nit is that the barrel leaded quite badly with the loads I shot (which do not lead in other pistols). I suspect that the barrel internals are simply not as finished as my other pistols.

All told, for $350 total cost (including shipping and transfer fees) it seems to be a good bargain for someone who wants a HP but doesn't want to spend twice as much to get the finish quality of a Browning.
