I pick up my new P32 in a few days. Do I need a pocket holster for the little guy?

My J-frame needs one to prevent printing and keep the butt upright for the draw, does the same thing go for the P32?

Can you guys recommend a good pocket holster for a P32? Thinking maybe another Kramer or trying one from Mika.

I prefer a pocket holster for mine. The P32 wanders around in my pocket without a holster to orient it for proper draw.

Holster!

Keeps the crud out - important for autos, especially mouseguns.
Keeps the gun from flipping around.
Protects the trigger from snagging on something.
Protects the gun's finish from rubbing, scratching, and moisture (sweat).
Helps prevent printing.

Here's a few good pocket holsters - many materials, many styles, many prices:

I use to be a holster guy... found that most new dress pants and scrub pants (as in hospital uniform) have a cell phone type pocket inside the right front pocket. Little pocket down at the bottom of the normal pocket fits the KelTech well...stayes grip-up and barrel-down, doesn't tattle around with anything else in the pocket.

The little cell phone pocket in most jacktets serves pretty well too.

BTW: lint. Your moma was right...turn your pockets inside out when your wash pants.

I vote for the Desantis Nemesis holster (linked above)

It's got this high-traction surface so it doesn't slide around in a normal pocket, and is more likely to stay firmly in your pocket on the draw.

Second vote for the Nemesis. I find some of the other Nemesis holsters (especially the one sized for the J-Frame) too bulky, but they really nailed it with the P3AT size - I don't see how much smaller you could make a holster. Also, it's inexpensive, so you can try it out for very little risk.

An Uncle Mike's pocket holster is also popular for a P32. People on the boards generaly eschew the inexpensive mass-market nylon holster gear for serious daily carry, but the P32 is so light and small that these "inferior" products are up to the job.

A popular modification on the Uncle Mike's sidekick small auto pocket holster is to build a spare P32 magazine carrier into it. The extra tab of material that sticks out from the muzzle end to fill in the triggergaurd and grip area to a more square-ish profile. You can slice the stitching along the top, and it makes a perfectly sized pocket for a spare P32 magazine.

Bobo, thanks for all the pocket holster links! :)

I think I'll order a DeSantis Nemesis, the price is right and it looks like it'll do the job well.

High Noon looks like they make great stuff as well - may have to order one of their gunbelts for when I'm carrying a larger gun IWB.

Desantis Nemesis, as others have said. I have the 3AT and while I've tried other carry methods and holsters, the Nemesis is the best I've found. Definitely use a holster for pocket carry. If you don't , one day you'll forget your gun is in there, and you'll shove your keys/change, etc. into that pocket, and KA-BOOM if anything gets wedged in the trigger guard. For safety sake, get a pocket holster and don't carry anything else in that pocket with your gun ever.
