That must be an early one? The extractor is different than mine. I barely trust mine, hope the bad guy isn't carrying something more reliable. Nice concept though. I like that extractor better than the one on mine. Mine is held in place with a spring that is held in with a socket head screw that is loctited in. I also think the hard chrome finish is the way to go but heard they don't offer them that way anymore.

Here is a picture of my hard-chromed P3AT. As I was preparing to buy a P3AT, the owner of the gun shop told me that the company had experienced far fewer returns of hard-chromed models than other models. I don't know if that is true, but I know that in over 500 rounds, mine has never had a failure.

Hey guy's, I finally broke down and bought myself an all black KEL-TEC P3AT
.380; and I'm damn glad I did; as its a "most likely" gun that you will have with
you 100% of the time. I say, "Never Leave Home Without It". My P3AT has
been a very reliable piece; not having any failures of any sort, during the
short time I have owned it. You might say, its pretty dang accurate as far
as "pocket pistols" go; as I can keep a magazine full in an 8" pie plate from
the 15 yard line~!

I have both the P32 and the P11. Been very impressed with both of them. They are both first gen. and have had no problems with either.

Good movie, bad news...looks like I have to send the gun back to Kel-tec. Mine has developed the slide peening issue at 335 rounds. I saved the box tops to keep track.
-200 Winclean.
-50 WWB FMJ.
-40 Speer GDHP.
-25 Remington Golden Sabre JHP.
-20 Federal JHP.

No failures while shooting, just some slow cycling with the Remington HPs. I like the GDHP better than the federals so that is what I carry.

Ok, I'll play. Not pretty, but functional. Yeah, that's black PCV tape covering the grip.

And yeah, I use a glove when shooting it. (...but I don't have any blisters).
