Kel Tec quality question

Another thumbs up for the SU-16. I have the California model and love it. I've put a few hundred rounds through it and have had no problems. It folds and fits my backpack, uses AR mags, and is very easy to take apart and clean. It only weighs 5 pounds too. I'm still going to build my AR with my lowers but I like the kel-tec.

Kel-Tec A+

I have had an SU16A and now have (2) SU16C(s), one for each automobile.

I also carry a P11 I bought used at a pawn shop for $125.00.

Inexpensive, but they go bang everytime I need/want them to.

I saw one of those 223 pistols...

at the last gun show I went to. SWEET......Swmbo and I each have a 3AT and they have been trouble free, accurate, right on at 7 yards....chris3

I have several Kel Tec pistols and have read a good deal about their products. My opinion is that the quality of production and the quality of materials is inconsistent. I think Kel Tec has sold their products mainly because of the innovative designs and the low prices. But if there is a problem, KT is famous for dealing with it quickly and free to the customer. KT continues to innovate with their .223 rifle and .223 pistol and create niches for their products.

Shooten, how much did you pay?

Up here in Mendocino County the local gunstore has them for $640, which I refuse to pay:barf: For some reason in the last 6 months all the shops I have been to in Mendocino and Humboldt county have decided to start asking MSRP on everything:barf: :barf:
