Kel Tec SU16

Well just got my new to me Kel Tec Su16. Looking for advise on a couple of things.
1-What ammo runs the best it it?
2-Any sling suggestions and how to mount em-thinking a single or 2 position.

Run only brass cased ammo through it.
No steel case/ploymer coated case ammo (ie. Wolf/Brown Bear/etc.)

Mine has had no issues with the Wolf Polymer coated.

I'm not big on slings, but I think the sling mounts are an extra cost add-on for the SU16.

My old SU-16 has shot Silver Bear and Wolf. I know they say not to but so far not had any problems. Probably the best shooting round was 50 gr. Wally World Federal 200 round Value Pack. When this ammo first came out it was 47.oo for the 200 round pack now its 78.oo. I stocked up when it was cheap so I shoot it a lot... Sling = not sure as I never put one on but I'm sure someone will chime in with an answer..

I have only run brass cased ammo through mine, but I hear many others running steel. From what I read, you just don't want to mix steel and brass ammo between a good cleaning.

You should also check out the SU-16 faq at KTOG. The SU-16 message board is full of usefull information on these rifles.
