Kel-Tec Sub-2000 Glock .40 - reliable? What about with other mags?

Is the Sub-2000 .40 Glock model reliable? Any issues I should be aware of?

Also, how will it work with say the Scherer (spelliing?) jumbo 30 round or so .40 Glock-a-like mags?

Lastly, any photos of people modding the sub-2000 to have a better stock?

I like the Beretta CX4 for the stock and ergonomics.... but the Sub-2000 would be able to make use of at least 24 mags I already own whereas I'd have to start buying mags from scratch for the Beretta.

The Scherer mags have a bad reputation in Glock handguns, can't imagine they'd be better in the Kel-Tec.

I believe the only difference between 9mm, .40S&W, and .357SIG Glock mags are the follower. If so, just get a Glock 18 mag and change the follower.

Nope. .357 and .40 have the same mag bodies, but the 9mm has different feed lips to better feed the smaller round. It may be possible to spread the feed lips on a G18 mag, but it would be a jerry-rigged sort of deal.

hehe.. hey man. While I actually know you've seen mine before.. since I initially snapped these quick badly lit pics to show you specifically some time ago. I'll post it anyway. Sub2K .40S&W HC model.
I think I may sell this gun soon.. I don't know , I'm kind of divided on the issue. I like it, but if something has to go to fund other guns.. this might be the first on the chopping block. I like the folding front grip on it. I do shoot it better with a front grip , and this way it fits into a foam lined bag I made specifically for the gun. Also, I just think sticking with the whole folding concept is fun.

yeah Hex, I pretty much was thinking of your Sub-2000 when I posted this thread.

You got the wheels turning 2 months or so ago when I saw that forward mounted grip on it.

Now I'm wondering what else people have concocted for it.

I'm very seriously considering buying 1 or 2 of these guns.

It would probably be either 1 Beretta CX4, or 2 Kel-Tec Sub-2000's (one to shoot the bajeezas out of at the range and the other to be a safe queen).
