It seems like every one of my posts is about something being illegal in NJ. Well, I am thinking about getting one of those kel tec carbines, and I am curious if they are legal in NJ. To the best of my knowledge they are. Since the beretta storm and Ruger PC9 are both legal. I havent seen any stores in NJ selling them though. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. I have already check packing.org, NRA-ILA and all the other sites. My local gun shop does not know either. Thanks for any info in advance.

I just recently called the State Police Firearms unit. They very rudely said they didnt know and that I would have to send them the *garbled word* on the gun. It sounded like Id have to send them the specs of the gun for them to know. I couldnt understand. Your my last hope people. :D

AFAIK, it's legal.

-It's not on the named list of prohibited arms
-It has 2 only evil features: pistol grip and detacheable mag.

I've recently been made aware that it does run afoul of CA's AWB, however.

thanks. thats what i assumed as well. I mean the beretta storm is a better gun and is legal. Ill ask around at the gun show too. Thanks though.
