Kel-Tec vs. Bersa

I think the two fit different niches. The Kel-Tec, being very small and light, can fit into places the Bersa won't. I would also point out the availability of subcompact 9mms (a more powerful cartridge) about the size of the Bersa, but they do cost more.

I am looking at 9s right now.

Found a couple of pics comparing the P3at and Bersa side by side:

I can only tell you about my Bersa Thunder 380. It is 2 years old and about 2,000 rounds thru it. No problem with any type ammo, no FTF,FTE or anything. I do have one mag that the slide will not lock back on every time. Mags are around $36 I believe. I fired it once without cleaning to see if it would stop, after 600 rounds I had to clean it because of the way it looked not because it failed in anyway.
I like the decocker/safety, don't like the blowback operation (small caliber semi). I do like the grip.
Overall I really like it especially for $250 new OTD.

The difference in size is huge. I really like the Bersa, and plan to buy one and a .22 Firestorm soon for my wife.

However, I'll keep my P3AT, and might even get a second as a spare. It is too good a gun to ever be without.

WOW once again a picture is worth a thousand words. Kel-Tec really doesnt have any competition in its class does it?

Now if only you didn't have to be an olympic weightlifter to pull the trigger, and it actually fired every time you did manage it .. now that'd be something ! hehe
