Hello Everyone,

Any Keltec SU-16 owners out there?

How reliable and accurate is this intriguing little rifle?

Any accessories worth considering?

Thanks for the input.

I just picked one up(SU-16A) last Tuesday night. I have not fired it yet, but I will post a report as soon as I do, should be Sunday.
As far as all else goes, first, for a poly, collapsible rifle its very ridged and well built, there is no flex in the stock what so ever when deployed, even the "bi-pod" forend that looks like it would be "squishy", is not at all when closed. The SU also fits me well, I love the way it shoulders.
I have an EOTech 512 on for optics, the front sight of my A does come into the view looking through the 512, I won't know how this effects shooting until I get to fire the gun. I'm not planning any accessories out side of what I have (EOTech sight and two 20r PMAGS) If the front sight becomes an issue I might consider removing it and adding some kind of comp.

I got three minutes into that review and when he wasn't talking about the SU-16 yet I almost stopped. "Brevity is the soul of wit" as Shakespeare said. I appreciate the review but that video should have left a lot more on the cutting room floor. Particularly all the parts that didn't pertain directly to the SU-16 or his tangent rants ie patrol carbines vs shotguns, military arms history, military tactics, politics, etc I had to stop at about 12 minutes because of it.

I think he is very wrong about the choice being between a mini 14 and the kel tec. I personally think that a saiga 223 is superior to both and despite the rising prices it is very competitive in terms of pricing.

Dang he's long winded.

WOW! Yes! I don't know how people EVER get past the first 3 minutes of ANY of his videos. He could take 5 minutes to say "Hi!"
