Kerry often tells a crowd how much he likes to hunt. Wearing a flannel shirt and rubber boots, he shot pheasants on a recent hunting trip.

"I believe I can speak to that culture," he said.

Excuse me while I go ahead and lose weight by :barf: :barf: :barf:

For you non-poli-sci majors, let me interpret that.

"I'm a wolf in flannel clothing and rubber boots, I will come like a thief dressed in camo-orange, ready to take all your guns away."

(Luke 11:21)
"When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are safe.

(Matt 12:29)
"Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can rob his house. "

so basically, he will come and take your arms, and then will rob your house in forms of taxes and rules and regulations all "For your own good", "For the greater good", and of course, personal favorite.. "For the children." :barf:

Partisan Ranger Rule #345.2b states:

"Anytime ye shall hear a politican quoth, 'I am a hunter,' grab ye guns with greate haste."

PS. If you think the 2nd is about hunting, go tell that to the Brits.

If you go to Kerrys website, www.johnkerry.com, take a look at his forums. All sorts of issues being discussed there...except one. Its almost like the mods there must have orders NOT to allow threads on the topic of guns. There was a thread about a month ago when I dropped into the site, and then...nothing. There are threads on literally any other topic you can think of. Its just too coincidental to be an accident.

twoblink,

Nice quotes. Not only were the deal old guys from 200 years ago right, but from 2,000 yeasr ago as well.

"For the children."

Everyone is getting tired of that one. Now the mantra is:

"working families"

Nobody can quite define exactly what a "working family" is (when is "is" is?)

I am not part of a working family because I am too rich
:barf: . I think a "working family" has an income below ~$30,000 per year if you traingulate all the crap (Gephardt said that a "working family" would get enough of a tax refund to by a muffler). So, it you make more than 30K, or ever aspire to, then you are not in a "working family."

Beware the politician in flannel hunting birds "for the 2A"

:what:

I think we should start referring to him as "Concealed Kerry". He is definately trying to conceal his true intentions regarding being pro-gun, pro second ammendment. The name kinda fits, dosen't it?

And this arrogant jerk has the nerve to tell us veterans that if we want to own an assault weapon, we can join the military. Butthead.

Hmm..you don't "own " an assault weapon by joining the military, either....it gets issued to you.....

I know he went pheasant once, but is he actually a real hunter, or just a one-timer for political sake?

Another thing. How many hunters worth 500 million dollars wear rubber boots when hunting pheasant?

Oh, people people, you are all wrong!!

Kerry _IS_ a hunter.. Don't you see him huntin' for your guns?

I think carrying calling himself a hunter brings bad names to people like H&H and Art...

When I see the pics on THR, I want YOUR guns too.. The only difference is, I don't take them by force, and he does... (or at least wants to)

Concealed Kerry huh? I love it!

All sorts of issues being discussed there...except one.

Even the War on Terror? (Not to open up a can of worms - I mean the overall WOT, not just Iraq).

Sure, he gave a policy speech last Friday and called for 2 new Army divisions, but he has also not said how he will use them, and I would imagine that "law enforcement and intelligence" approach will only go over well with his base.

The election in my opinion has nothing to do with this clown: if enough people hate Bush to vote for the equivalent of a sock puppet, then Kerry wil be President. If not, he won't.

The Republicans tried this strategy in 1996 with Bob Dole and failed miserably. Now, the Democrats are trying it again. It remains to be seen how they will do, IMHO its too early to tell.

2 more army divisions, eh?....

.... Kerry's probably gonna donate 'em to the UN, to further his globalization policies.

...some days ya just gotta take deeper breaths.

Kerry said on TV that Americans have the right to own guns to protect their families.

Okay, good so far, right?

Then, in the same breath, he explains that they don't have the right to give military weapons to criminals and terrorists, and that's why he supports the AWB.

Apparently, I'm either a criminal or a terrorist. Interesting. :scrutiny:

In the Chinese newspaper here (English print) it says that Kerry might give Bush a run for his money because he's "Well liked by Vets"..

WOW... you mean what the fishwrap prints and reality is not the same???!! Boy am I surprised...!! NOT..

Kerry is for the 2nd Amendment, what he plans on doing with the 2nd is anybody's guess however..

Well I know the Chinese, North Koreans, Lybians, Syrians and The PLO, as well as the French, Germans, Sadaam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, Aristide, teh Million Morons, and Americans for Gun Safety are all backing Kerry.

So Guess who I will be voting for.

What I dont understand is How the Unions AFL CIO can back Kerry, He's a Billionaire, who never worked a day at an actual job in his life.

He's never shopped for Groceries, or washed his own clothes or cleaned his own house.

But he Knows how the working family feels.

Let's see...

tcsd1236: You just pointed out a target of opportunity - Kerry's website forums. If we came out in - not force, but - reasonable attendance of their forums for the forseeable future, we might be able to disprove some of the radicals that will be hanging out there... might even convert a few. The least effect *could* be that the forums became unuseful for the propaganda. Now we don't want to shut them down, but express our side in a (somewhat) civil way, right?

keano44: I like that. Wonder, though, if he has a concealed ticket for that load he carries. It would have to be a national ticket, of course.

greyhound: I agree with Howard - two divisions sporting blue helmets and berets with equipment showing U N . Will our troops appreciate that? Morale?? What happens when they have to push Americans around - under orders?

Master Blaster: That's Amer-eeeek-ans... in their case.

All in all, it should be a hot summer - and fall. I see there are already complainers about the new Bush ad showing the WTC.

Here we go.

Well, given that Texas was a lock for Bush anyway I was planning on voting Libertarian to indicate my displeasure with several of the current administration's policies.

However, I may just vote Bush anyway since it would pain me to think I gave any aid, however slight, to the likes of John Kerry's political ambition.

communists come in all colors,,,and kerry is one,,

when the american communist party stated in a news paper article a while back that it was not running a candidate,,that they were supporting the demorats, to defeat bush,,, what does that tell you,,,this guy is dangerous,,and too many hunters and gunowners are tooo stupid to reconize how this guy operates,,and will vote for him,,:banghead: :cuss:
