Bought this little beauty a few weeks ago at Wallie World and have been LOVIN' it. Great little folder with spring open assist, thumb stud, clip etc etc. Just all around good little knife. The only thing that I have found that I don't like about it is (this is really gonna sound stupid but.....) the point of the blade is almost too pointy if this makes since, I can't clean out from under my fingernails without sticking myself (OUCH) but this is the only thing that I have found that I don't like about the little fellow otherwise sharp as a razor, the serrations are wonderful for cutting plastics, rope, etc. great all around knife.:D

I have one right now in my suit jacket.

Can't say I have a problem cleaning under my finger nails with it, though that point is quite fine and I don't use the Leek for really hard work.

It has a really nice assisted opening. I love the main opening button on top. Really nice and smooth. I would have liked the thumb studs extended another couple of millimeters or so to get a better grip on them, but that of course extends it past the handle and runs more of a snagging risk.

The problem I found with it, is I am left handed and to work the thumb stud left handed, you need to reverse the clip to get into it properly. Took me all of about 30 seconds to do. I prefer the clip that way anyway so it is not so bad.

The jimping on the back of the handle and blade is a weak point in my opinion. It a little bit decorative and hard to grip on to. The ridges at the bottom (not sure if you would call that jimping too) and the way the handle is crafted gives you a very good grip in that location.

The blades are now made from Sandvik 13C26 steel which is pretty darn nice. Not up there with S30V in hardness and edge retention, but is a great compromise. I found it fairly easy to sharpen and kept its edge nicely. I much prefer the plain blade Leek to the partial serration, though thats a matter of taste. The partial serration is handy on stuff like cardboard and string and alsorts of stuff like that.

The handle is nicely shaped and thin, light and easily stowed away. It also has a very nice look to it. The knife has a beautiful design to it in general with a strong lock that holds in place for a liner lock. My harder working blade though now is the Kershaw Leek. It just has a handier blade shape and much more grippier and it is a more goto knife than the Leek which in my opinion is more a gentleman's knife. I think you got a good value, especially at the price you can pick them up. I got my latest one at Walmart too.

Just watch out to make sure it not an old version with the 440A stainless steel blade. If it is, I believe Kershaw will accept the blade back and replace it with a 13C26 blade and that better steel is well worth it. I also love the smoke colours. Especially the blue smoke one. My wife like the rainbow coloured leek and wants me to get her one of those. My best friend wants me to get her the pink one for her birthday. Women. They really love their colours.
