It was super sharp right out of the box. Is anyone else carrying this as one of their EDC knives?

My wife got one earlier this year. She loves it. I was pretty impressed with it, myself. I swear, every time we go to Smoky Mountain Knife Works, she complains about going, spends twice as much as I do, and spends the next year saying how her purchases were better than mine.

Back on topic, it seems to be an excellent knife for the price. Sharp out of the box, holds an edge well, easy open, handy size. Definitely a keeper.

It also feels like the blade has a sturdy locking mechanism.

I carry one in black with a partially serrated blade, very versatile, slim, and sharp.

American made, good quality steel blade, a bargain at it's price.

I had one with a D2 composite blade several years ago. Decent knife. But I ended up trading it for something with more belly.

I have one; like it well enough and did carry it for a while. But while I have no issues with the quality it is not my favorite.

I have one exactly like that and carry it often. I really like it. I did reverse the clip so that it pulls out out the pocket handle first. I also disabled the blade lock. I hate those things.

I carry one daily. Great knives. Tip is not super tough if you want to use it for a screwdriver or chisel but that's why those tools exist.

I don't know what EDC is? But I've had one of those knives for a long time and it's been a great knife...

I have one, got it as a Christmas gift a few years back. Definitely a well made knife that's super sharp right out of the box. It shares EDC duties with a Kershaw Scallion.

I carried the smaller Chive for years, very well made and functional, at the time I needed a smaller knife than the Leek. Now I carry a ColdSteel Mini-Lawman, no slippery handle.

The only "down side", for me, is that the Leek is so lightweight that I didn't notice when one of mine was lost till later in the day while camping. I'd been carrying it clipped in my back pocket and it must have slipped out while seated at another camp site. :(

I carried two for a long time, until both slipped put of my pocket somewhere.Hope the finder gets good use out of them.

I tried carrying one, but it slipped out of my pocket three times in two weeks. Only knife I've had that problem with.
