Kershaw quality?

I have a Blackout, a Vapor II, a Chive and the 1422ST (Can't remember the name; a little hawkbill folder).

I've been quite satisfied with all of them.

Carry a Blackout everyday, use it to cut anything that needs cutting.

I've had a Ken Onion Avalanche for about a year now and think its a very good knife. The steel is good and I really like the speed assist blade. I rotate the Avalanche with a Spyderco Rookie for my EDC.

If you are looking for a good entry level Ken Onion, I'd say get the Chive, which sells for $30 at Walmart.

Ken Onions at Wally World for $30?!? Dang, I got ripped off! That's about what I paid for my Kershaws...

;)

It's after the fact, but here's two cents anyway. :) The only Kershaw I own is the Double Cross. Nice fit, beautifully finished, and the basic scary sharp blades. I'm very happy with it.

First I picked up a Chive & was quite satisfied. Then I found the Blackout at Wally World and it's been my daily carry knife since.

I have a chive, scallion, rainbow leek, random task, mini task, boa. Lost the whirlwind in the yard somewhere. Yep, guess you could say I like um. Actually, they are a pretty decent knife for the price. I am a bit of a knife nut and usually spend a little more for a EDC, but these are pretty nice. The random task is my favorite.
