The Jerusalem Post's Khaled Abu Toameh reports from outside Yasser Arafat's compound in Ramallah:

"We want to defend [Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser] Arafat and kill the Jews wherever they are," said 10-year-old schoolgirl Aysheh Muhammad as she gripped a poster of Arafat outside his battered office Sunday, chanting slogans in his support along with her classmates.

"I came here to defend President Arafat against the occupiers who are killing us every day. I'm prepared to make a big sacrifice. I'm prepared to go to the Jews myself and to kill them wherever they are just as they killed us and destroyed us," she said.

Aysheh--born right about the time the Israelis and the Palestinians signed the Oslo "peace" accords--adds: "At school they tell us, go to liberate Palestine. We are not like the Jews, they are just cowards."

Now, if the Israelis were so inclined, they could easily level Arafat's compound, killing him and everyone there, including hateful little 10-year-old schoolgirls. That they refrain from doing so reflects not cowardice but humanity.

Without taking sides, the Israeli/Palestinian problems are a textbook example of why "getting it over with" one way or another, the first time, is a very good idea.

They want to kill everyone that isn't them. They kill women and children in an attempt to slow the procreation of their enemy.

Back then the Black panthers collected money to "feed the hungry children" in the ghetto and served them pancakes along with "information" about how blacks were being targetted for destruction by the governement. I actually saw one of the comics they were giving kids. The police were drawn in black gestapo like uniforms but had pig heads (like Porky pig) and the gist of the story was that the noble black man was being framed and put in prison by the government. At the end of the story, the black men got free after the government was overthrown and it showed the "piggies" running away in terror.

The punch line was that one of the people associated with that organization was none other than "Slick" Willie Brown, present mayor of san Francisco.

So, needless to say, teaching your children with just a little side order of brainwashing is probably as old as the human race. That's where prejudices come from: we aren't born with them, they have to be programmed in.

Sorry but this is BS. I remember when I was a kid. We didn't need someone to teach us to pick on the weak or "mentally challenged" or different on the playground, we did it naturally. People are born selfish and hating people and things. The reason this sort of "brain washing" works is that all you have to do is point and say "Hate Him!" and watch the momentum build.

Nor can you simply teach children not to hate anything, as if hating was a horrible sin. We should hate what is wrong and evil, just as we should love what is good. You simply must be diligent in teaching your kids what is wrong and what is right. Unfortunately some people are better than others at that.

In 5 months I've resisted responding to any Israel vs Palestine thread but I can't stands it no more.

This totally sums up my feeling on the whole matter. I wish we could let them settle it themselves, but I've heard one to many times about the "Head of the snake" (the U.S.) and the "Tail of the snake" (Israel).

Plus the pictures on 9/11 of the Palestinians celebrating and passing around candy I will never forget.

At leat once a week I recall the video of the elderly Palestinian woman with the thick glasses and black headscarf ululating and passing around yogurt and pita that terrible day. And the "V" signs from the children. I think moral equivalence is impossible after that.

Of course, our media would not let us see those images as of 9/12/01.

Yup, same reason most countries in that region hate the U.S. Cause we keep taking sides (and switching them). First we give Iraq weapons to fight Iran.. then Iran to fight Iraq,, we give Isreal money to fight the Palistinians.... I can't even imagine how much other meddling has been done via black ops and the like...

Our leaders think they are smart enough to manipulate the outcome of things in that region by helping out one side or the other, but when the pendulum swings to another side we quickly jump ship and help that side against our previous 'allies'.

In 1967 The US marines were there fighting the surprise attack

And in 1974 Yom Kippur, all branches of the armed forces of the USA were there defending Israel again.

Oh and Adolph Hitler, the jews made him up, and then put themselves in concentration camps so that the world would feel sorry for them, and conquer the middle east so they could have Israel.
