After giving up on the Metalform .22LR "Colt Ace" magazines for my Marvel Unit 1, I've begun exploring other options for magazines.
Midway sent me a Kimber .22LR magazine that will hand cycle the first 5 rounds or so perfectly, but will fail on every of the last 5 rounds. Jams are due to the round tipping up prematurely and not chambering. Does it sound like it's a matter of a uniquely defective magazine/springs, or are Kimber magazines not fully compatible with the Marvel system? I've read other reports of success, so I assume that isn't the issue.
