Kimber Classic Custom Question.

I have a Kimber Classic Custom I took in on a trade. I was told that it’s Classic Custom II but it’s not marked on the slide. How do I know it just a classic custom or a Classic custom II ?

If it is a "II", it should definately be marked as such on the slide. But to tell for sure, all "II"s use the schwartz safety system, so check to see if it has one (Small pin in frame that raises when grip safety is depressed). Another quick thing to look for is if it has an external extractor. While some series II Kimbers do have an internal, all external pistols would be a II.
