Kimber has a reputation for good CS, which is one of the reasons they are my 1911 of choice. I have never had to send one back, though

Now THAT has to be the funniest thing I've read on a gun forum all week! Obviously you've never had the pleasure of discussing your problem with them and gettin the runaround and a good dose of their "New York attitude."

My experiences with Kimber CS have been nothing but great, they were reasonably simple issues but the acted quickly to solve my problem. No attitude issues at all, for the matter of fact I got much more than I asked for.

I own three Kimbers adn intend to buy at least two more.

Maybe it has something to do with how someone talks to the guy. I've had nothing but excellent experiences with Kimber's customer service, and I've dealt with them three or four times over the last eight years.

Ive delt with them on more then this occasion. Ive owned quite a few kimbers through the years and have been treated like a king by there service dept and custom shot each and every time. Im sure like any other service dept they get testy at times. Afterall they deal with alot of idiots and people that think they know more about there guns then they do.
