I was wandering around the LGS today hoping to score some ammo..no luck there ...but, l decided to look at their gun case to see what was new since my last visit. I've been looking for something to replace the Sig P365 that I sold and have been playing with my wife's Kimber Micro 9 and really like it. Lo and behold a Kimber Rapide Black Ice caught my eye. The clerk said they just got them in...I asked to look at and fondle it..I instantly like the Tru-Glo TFX Pro Day Night Sights. Tritium for night and fiber optics for day. Green rear sights and an orange front sight that just pops out at you when aimed. A DLC coated barrel for longevity. Cutouts in the slide for faster lock time...ya like I'm going to notice that..but it looks cool! It has some stipling on the front of the grip along with some on the grip panels which also have an interesting cutout for the finger tips. Has a flared mag well and a pinky rest on the mag. It also has a ambidextrous safety so good for left and right handers. I was pretty taken with all the features..it ended up coming home with me. Finally got a run of good weather and was able to get out and put some rounds thru my new Micro 9 Rapide today. Put around 80 rounds thru it and it performed flawlessly. I shot 124 g FMJ Blazer ammo. No hiccups.

Very impressed with this little shooter. It replaces the Sig P365 that I didn't care for. It has a grip with some good girth and I'm going to add a little more with the Hogue wrap around grip. I was able to hold a 1-1/2" grouping at 7 yards with aimed shots. At 3" - 4" with hurried shots. Shot it two handed, strong hand and weak hand all with good results. My only glitch was pushing the safety on when shooting two handed. I think that will be corrected with the addition of the wrap around grips. Great little shooter and once I get it fully vetted a highly concealable carry piece
