Picked up a Micro 9 today and shot about 175 rounds through it with no glitches. It has a Crimson Trace laser sight on it but the jury is in deliberation about that right now. I'll give it a try for awhile but I'm not too enamored with it. I tend to shoot a bit high with it but if I concentrate on the sights it does shoot to point of aim. I really like the pistol, as it has enough 1911 in it that I feel quite comfortable with the operation/function. I carried a 1911 in the Army for a number of years and have one in my nightstand so I'm very familiar with that style action. It may replace my S&W Shield as my carry gun because the weight and overall dimensions of the Kimber make it more concealable than the Shield.

At this point of time I'm really liking this pistol, the recoil is negligible and it fits my hand. No problem with the short grip but would like to have an 8 round mag if available for my pinky finger to rest on.

I was considering the Sig P968 but the trigger on the ones in the LGS weren't as good as the Kimber and I didn't like the ambidextrous safety. The safety rubbed against my right hand when I moved it from safe to fire and back again. The difference in price wasn't enough to sway me one way or another.

I just bought one of these. Mine is the stainless without laser grip. I really like it so far. Shoots great and no problems.

Good to hear it doesn't jam as bad as Kimber 1911s!
Maybe they have improved their quality control.

Saw a couple at the gun show this weekend. Looked a lot like the Sig 938 next to it. I haven't so much as held either one. Very interesting pistols though.

I bought one for my wife. So far I’m replacing the slide lock and hope that cures the slide locking back mid-mag.

I’m unimpressed with the reliability thus far.

I have three Kimber 1911’s. No problems. Guess I got the only good ones. Also I have found the micro 9 to be a very reliable well made pistol.

I have a Kimber Micro, a Mirco 9, and an Eclipse II (38 Super). All run with the reliability of a light switch.

My only issue with my Micro 9 is it sprays empty cases to the four winds. Fortunately, 9x19 cases are easy to come by.:)

Nice pick up! Hope it serves you well!
