Kinker Plinker questions, and other 10/22 conversion questions.

I'm looking for some nifty conversions for my new 10/22, and I came across the the Krinker Plinker, a converstion to turn a 10/22 into an AK-47 Krinkov.

Has anyone ever had any experience with something like this? It looks pretty neat, but I don't know if it is as good as it sounds, or if I can get it in CA.

Also, is there anyone who makes an MP5 conversion for a 10/22?

Well, you can get it in CA. I'm not a lawyer, but the "assault weapon" law basically only applies to centerfire if you're talking about rifles. You can't buy new hicap mags for it though.

Frankly, though, I think it looks kinda ugly...

It's aluminum, and allows you to have an AR buttstock of your choice, plus it has picatinny rails. Maybe you're an AK guy though

When I read the thread title I was expecting something like a studed leather covered stock.
