Kiss CC in National Parks goodbye?

So, we need laws to prevent people from doing what this guy did even though we already have laws against what he did, but which did not prevent him from doing it.

I often wonder how the hell some judges ever made it through their first four years of college, let alone a full legal degree program, professional practice and then appointment to the bench. Something's broken along that line somewhere.

Judge raps guns in national parks
from: Jackson Hole Star-Tribune - Casper,WY,USA

WY, March 6th, 2008 …

The criminal killing of an elk underscores the need to restrict the use of loaded guns in national parks, Chief U.S. District Judge William Downes said Tuesday.

Where's the counterpoint to the judges position in this article? When did simply reporting a news event become synonymous with editorial hack-jobs like this one?

The problem we seem to be having, my freedom-loving friends, is that there aren't enough "pro" news reports to counter the many "anti" positioned editorials this waste of printed space and bandwidth illustrates.

Battling the socialist institutions in this country, i.e, from the brainwashing our kids receive in the school systems all the way to the daily major media onslaughts, seems a losing proposition at every turn.

Maybe the reporter does not understand that you can't "restrict the use of loaded guns in national parks" any more than the current ban does. Or maybe the reporter thinks the government could ban guns in national parks, but really, really mean it this time. :barf:
