Knife legalities in Georgia

Did some searches, now more confused! Can one carry a knife in Georgia? Do you know if there is a minimum blade length as I have seen both 2" and 3" in different statues. Furthermore, does the concealed permit for Georgia allow the carry of knives? Thanks for your attention. Dave.

The Georgia Firearms Permit is just that, a firearms permit. It allows you to carry (open or concealed) your firearm to allowed locations.

As far as knives, even with a Firearms permit, you still have to have it visible... You just can't conceal it, and of course it comes off at courthouses, etc...
