I didnt know we couldn't! Not an issue here as far as I know! I buy grocerys there and save$ at the pump!

You didn't know who couldn't what?

If legal you can absolutely carry a gun to Kroger. I have open carried to mine multiple times.

Don't forget you can use those fuel points at Shell now too. ;)

Not impressed with the wording of the poll. It isn't a larger constitutional issue and lends itself to polarization at the extremes. Should read "Do you support Kroger's adherence to state law with regards to the legal carry of firearms on property?"....or something of that sort. But that's how it's written and I'm sure it wasn't an accident.

Voted.

I recently noticed at one Kroger store the armed guards are no longer armed. I'm on a first-name basis with some of them. Said one, "Some namby-pamby-pansy in corporate decided he didn't like guns."

Or words to that effect. Similar words. Not exact, mind you.

Said I, "Well, if I'm in the store and there's trouble, I've always got a spare I can scoot across the floor to you."

Mainsail - it deposits a cookie that ID's your IP if you've clicked on or viewed the page any time before (presumably to keep people from voting more than once). Clear out your cookies, history, etc. then give it another try.

I think it was the IE8 that we have on our GVT computers. At home on firefox it let me vote.

62% and rising! I see an admin from the board there slammed gun owners as "immature and paranoid". But I bet he thinks it's ok for "celebs" to have armed guards. After all "they" are the beautiful people and not part of the great unwashed like us. I wonder if that person will ever come to realize just how bigoted and condescending he sounds.

Yep, still at 62% - would be nice to see total number of votes

Upper left, under the question: 92k votes.
