I was about 10 years too young and $123.50 too broke to get my paws on one of those years ago.
I think the price then, with a few rounds of ammo, was $129.

I'm pretty sure they are classified as Destructive Devices. Bore greater than .50 inches and not a "sporting gun".
ETA: "Solid tungsten projectile"? I seriously doubt it. Tungsten is much harder than steel. Firing a solid tungsten bullet would probably remove the rifling after a few dozen shots. Probably has a tungsten core...
No, Tungsten Carbide is much harder than steel, pure (excluding trace) Tungsten is actually softer than bronze. VERY dense, but not hard at all really.
As I posted elsewhere, those AT rifles are classified as Destructive Devices. They are not Title II (NFA) weapons, and a dealer requires a different FFL, not just an SOT stamp. Dealers are scarce, and I understand some states have no dealers, so anyone wanting to buy one, even if it is legal in that state, is SOL.
I don't know what the modern ammunition is loaded with, but the original Finnish ammo which the gun used in service fired steel projectiles. I have a round in my collection. See the 20x138B below (from the article on anti-tank rifle ammo on my website):
Germany did make some tungsten-cored Hartkern ammo in 20x138B calibre for their KwK 30 and KwK 38 AFV guns, but that wasn't used in the Lahti AFAIK, and it looked quite different anyway. See the pic below, which shows one loaded with a replica projectile (from the Ammo Photo Gallery on my website).
