I'm looking for Lahti L-39 blueprints. I've searched the net high and low on and off for *years* and have yet to see such a beast. Anyone got them or know where I can find them?

Free would be nice, but I'd cough up some good money for a good, detailed set of prints.

Thanks!

Much like properly detailed machinist's drawings of the Luger P08 design, I think they've been lost to time. :(

Actually, (just FYI) there's a guy on lugerforum.com who has done a very good job reverse engineering lugers and drawing up prints. You can still buy them for $30. That said, the lugers are very complicated. Not a project for anything but a master machinist...

I'm off to buy a set of prints! I have the skill, tools, and time to make a Luger in .45ACP if I have a good starting point in terms of dimensions. :D

Just the materials and tooling will cost me more than that, for one.

But I think you knew that. ;)

Hahaha.... riiiight. I'll be sure to start a waiting list in the next decade or three.

On a side note, if you decide to tackle the project, can you keep us updated as to how it's going? Project diaries are fun. :)
