Have been carrying my Glock 21 since 01/2003 never a bobble, hiccough or jam. It's a mechanical device, it can malfuntion. Any of them can. Take care of your toys and hope for the best.

You know, I absolutely mean no offense to any LEO's that read this, as there are some fine, fine people that dress in blue, but there are enough LEO's in any major city PD that are clueless when it comes to the sidearms that they carry that I always take these big departmental recalls with a grain of salt. Add the overwhelming amount of political correctness required of any police department, and the often intense and unfair scrutiny that these PD's are constantly under from the public, and it just makes me immediately suspicious of the true value of the recall. Doesn't mean that its not true, but in my opinion, doesn't mean that it should be taken at face value either.

Don't forget NYPD had a couple hundred incidents w G19s, including a couple during shootings. NYPD never pulled any from service, but Glock did modify the slides on all 24,000 guns they had at the time.

Stuff happens. I carry Glocks in 9/40 and don't worry about it. If I had bigger hands, would carry a G21 and not worry about it. Whenstuff happens, I don't worry about it, I do something about it.

Back in 98, the Baltimore county PD had probs w 52 of it's 1300 SIGs...

There isn't a gun made you can use that stuff hasn't happened to, or is going to happen to... ;)

Post on glocktalk

Look at jmg's post on glocktalk concerning all the problems with glocks. They didn't care much for what I have to say. It is what it is.
