I noticed Laupa (and maybe others, I dont know), offer .223" and .224" bdiameter bullets in thier ammo. Which is considered "standard" and which is considered "oversized"? Below is thier ad for thier top of the line 22 LR ammo: Thanks-

Lapua's Midas grade is the most accurate .22 LR ammunition in the world. It holds THE Unbeaten World Records in BR-50 and ISSF 60 Shot Prone as well as a long list of Olympic, World and National Titles. The reason this ammo shoots so well is due to advanced production methods and extremely tight quality control. This results in consistency... everything the same from one shot to the next. Available in two versions: Midas "M" has a bullet diameter of .223". Midas "L" has a bullet diameter of .224". We have a Sampler 100 Package... 50 rounds of each... so you can try both L and M diameter.
ORDER 810-43170211 Lapua Midas-M .22LR (50) $12.91
ORDER 810-43170221 Lapua Midas-L .22LR (50) $12.91
ORDER 810-431702S1 Midas LM Sampler .22LR 100 $25

I would think this has more to do with chamber profile than bore diameter. Either way varying your bullet diameter by .001" seems pretty impressive. Perhaps this is for the uber match .22LR Free pistols etc.?
