Today I was suprised to learn that the Rock River Arms LAR-15 pistol is legal in Canada, and that you can attach a buttstock and / or a vertical grip, since the regulations here are different than in the States. The other suprising thing is that LAR-15 10 round magazines made by Rock River are also legal in Canada, since the maximum capacity for a handgun is 10 rounds here. Semi rifles are 5 rounds except for the Garand. This is a neat way to get 10 round AR magazines, and yes, it is legal to use the Rock River 10 rounders in an AR-15.

This seems like a pretty neat toy to own. Other than that, I see no use for it except that it's nice to have guns that stretch the rules a bit.

How much velocity would I get from 55gr loads from the 7 inch barrel?
