I went through a lot to get my ccw. Safety course, fed background check. I have to get court approval to add a weapon to my permit.

I can carry conceal throughout New York state except New York City.

I was told this includes Long Island.

I read ccw was not avalible unless there was a reason meaning (someone rich and influential like) Donald Trump or (someone with a business interest like) a jewler.

That would exclude anybody from getting a ccw just for personal defence (in NYC?).

If the crux of your question is, is this legal on Long Island, there was a response in your other thread that seemed to cover it:

Firstly,
Be advised that Nassau County is NOT part of NYC. Nassau County does issue restricted Carry Permits which allow you to carry a concealed pistol to and from a range or shooting event.

Don't take my word for it though, go to the official Nassau County Police Department website here:

Download and open the "Pistol License Handbook" on that page, go to page #5 and read paragraph 1, where it states the following:
"A Carry License, which is stamped Target restricts the licensee to carrying a loaded firearm to and from a range for recreational or competitive shooting, or for hunting, where legal in New York State"
