I ordered a LC9S Pro last week, and it should be in any day. It seems that the 9 round factory magazines are sold out everywhere, and I'm leary to go with Promag because of their reputation. Is anyone aware of a vendor that has the factory magazines in stock? Has anyone used the Promags and had a good experience with them?

Why do you want a 9 round magazine as it defeats the purpose of a small pocket 9mm. I am very leary of aftermarket mags some work many are junk. I have a LC9s pro and am very happy with it 500 rounds with no issues and good accuracy.

When I'm pocket carrying it, I'll use the 7 round magazine, as I'm assuming, but don't know for sure as I don't have the gun yet, that the 9 round magazine will cause it to print. I always carry a spare magazine or two, which is what the 9 rounders are for.

I'm also leary of aftermarket magazines, which is why I'm looking for Ruger's 9 round magazines.

Just the Ruger 9 round, here.

TomJ, your reasoning for the extra 9 round mag is spot on. BTW, the 9 round mag carries fine in my Triple K Easy Out OWB holster with no printing in a loose fitting Polo shirt

I only bought two Promag magazines in my life. They were 10 rounders for my Kahr P9 and they worked better than OEM.

Tom,

I hope that when you pocket carry, you have a pocket holster. It eliminates any printing issue, and is far safer. Plus it keeps the gun oriented properly in your pocket.

I carry my LC9s in a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster, and it still prints with certain clothes. On the few occasions I do pocket carry, I've learned to compensate.

Moxie,

I do always use a pocket holster. Depending on the gun, it's either a DeSantis or a Sticky Holster. You're correct that without it the gun would print entirely too much, and I wouldn't be comfortable with a gun in my pocket with an exposed trigger.
