LCP magazine wiggle

I bought a new LCP on Saturday, and noticed that when I insert the magazine, it has a lot of front-to-back wiggle. Is this normal? I haven't been able to shoot it yet to know if it's causing any problems.

how much is "a lot" ?

i just checked mine, and there is a bit of play front to back, but not "a lot". that being said, when i unloaded my mag, so there was no more tension from the spring and the rounds, then the wiggle is a little more noticeable.

I've only tested it with an unloaded mag, and I would guess there is about 1/16" - 1/8" of movement.

How does it actually shoot?

Every thing in my gun is loose (slide play, up and down, mag wiggle,),
but mine does work.
I have put about 50 rounds through it, I do carry it and think it will work in Self Defense,
However to me this gun is not really meant to put 100's of rounds down range...

I've put hundreds of rounds through mine and it's still good and tight. (I just said that to make you paranoid! )

Seriously though, my mag has some play; but, it shoots just fine. So will yours.
