hey, ActionJax, hi from WI. got my c c permit a coupla weeks ago.
i never shot an LCP, but i didn't like the feel in my hands at the gun show. my buddy has a BG and i've shot it several times. it is dead nuts accurate once you get used to the long pull of the DA trigger. it's very well built, and i love the sights. i aim for small groups. the LCP sights might as well not be there. it's IMO a point and shoot weapon. seriously, i'm not one who would want to kill someone, even a perp, and if i hadn't already lost my cool because of a threat (and won't know until God forbid it actually happens) i would prefer to maim, not kill. life is too precious. c c is an awesome responsibility, and i would never hesitate to protect my or mine's lives, but i practice and practice with my xd 40, and maybe soon, the xd 'slim' when it comes in 40sw. so the fine sights of the BG are important IMO. i like the slide lock back on the last round fired too. and the gun just feels good in my big hand for a small weapon.
my vote's with the BG. to each his own.
