Hmmm...I just came home with a box of Remintgon .38 special 158g LRN cartridges - the only .38s they had other than Blazers - which I think were LRN too.
This is from a store that never had any good ammo selection before, and now of course it's much worse due to the shortages.
Outside of California, I think the biggest reason is that the profit margin on Jacketed ammo is much better then Raw Lead. though in some types of rounds (45 colt for example) I mostly see Lead Wadcutters still.
