Not really actual reloaded cases per se, but having experienced many bolt over jams in my '45 Springfield, I now understand the rounds in the clip need to be very even in height for proper function.
I now firmly pound the rounds on a steel or hard wood plate so the all line up. After I started doing this, there have been no more jams. The stock shows where the (Greek?) soldier did this, lots of little bullet tip dimples in the wood.
I take the added step of crimping the bullets to prevent setback, if anyone is about to point that out.
