The gun itself won't be harmed at any temp that doesn't destroy the car interior. Even for all the polymer pistols.
I would second (fifth?) the recommendation to rotate ammo. Heat degrades powder over time, and can do funny things to its burn rate. Rotating once a year should be adequate anywhere in the US, but every three months or so seems like a good idea.
I also would not use any super high pressure loads if the gun will be hot. Pressures developed by a load are greatly influenced by the temperature of the cartridge when it's fired. You should be perfectly safe with any SAAMI-spec, factory loaded ammo, but I would not use anything that is "+P+" (not a SAAMI designation) or otherwise loaded super hot, as firing it when the cartridge is 130 degrees could spike pressure well over the limit for the caliber.
