I just purchased a Lee 3 hole turret. The guy @ the gun shop thought it was shipped without the auto indexing parts so he sold it to me for $45.00 brand new [turns out they never came with it anyway]. I thought I could buy the parts from Lee but they discontinued them so I was wondering if anybody had these parts laying around that they wanted to get rid of. I am pretty sure I can make this into a 3 hole auto indexing press but don't really want a 4 hole , don't crimp.
Thanks
Tom

Sorry, can't help you. I threw away my auto indexing parts about a week after buying my press back in 1992. I am quite happy rotating my 3 hole turret by hand.

Get the 4-hole conversion. Start crimping. You'll never go back. :)

Or just turn it by hand, and batch load, which is what I do 90% of the time anyway

My old 3 hole turret has been running since 1984. I like it the way it is. A lot of people will give away the 3 hole turrets for free. Lube the pivot points and it will out last you. Good luck and have fun.

You can crimp with a 3 hole. No need to crimp in a fourth step for a great many applications. Many just prefer it.

Are you sure they discontinued the auto index rod for the 3 hole. I ordered and received mine about 4 months ago from Lee.

Yup , I called them on Tuesday and she told me everything for the 3 hole setup was discontinued except for the nylon ratchet that they also use for the 4 hole set up

If you want auto indexing, go ahead and convert to 4 hole. That way you can add a powder charging die or a crimp die if you want.

I prefer the 3 hole myself but I hand prime.
Let me check, I know I have one around here just gotta find it.

Did the press come with the 2 halfs that clamp to the ram?
