This mold worked beautifully 1st time out. I only cast 70 bullets, with 4 rejects. They measure at .588" OAL, where MBC's 180 gr.TC measures at .625" OAL. I found a load that I worked up for Missouri's, with 5.8 gr. of CFE-Pistol in 40 S&W. Plans are to do a work up to 6.1 gr. of CFE-P. The meplat is a bit broader than Missouri's. So, hopefully they feed fine in the Shield40.

It was only about 45 degrees out in the garage, so I was surprised they casted so well.

They look nice. Are you going to size them or shoot as cast? Are you going to powder coat them or lube them?

They're measuring between .401-.402". A 95-3-2 mix. And since I forgot to order a .401 sizer, I'll load them as is and see how they do. I finally got my M&P40 running accurate, so it should show how well they'll do unsized.
These ones will just get alox lube. I don't trust doing Hi-Tek baking in the barn during the cooler days. :)
