My lee auto drum has lost its little silver tab and lever thing that turns the drum on. I checked Lee’s site and can’t find the part. Anyone know where I can get this at?

PM me with your address and I'll send you mine. Never use 'em.
I didn’t even know the drum would work without the disconnector. I will have to try it this weekend cause I hate clicking it down each time. If it works without it then I should be good to go. I will let you know soon if that’s okay?

Putting the part number in the search window at the Lee site worked for me to find a part.
just sayin'
:D

I use mine without the disconnector attached. It works fine, and no need to reach up every cycle to reset the thing.

The instructions for AutoDrum included a section on how to disable the disconnector. Which I followed. It worked, have never used the disconnector and would throw the dispenser away if the disco' could not be disabled/detached.

I am a big believer in the notion that human conscious decisions (i.e., having to positively remember to do X) are far less reliable than simple machinery. I want to have a small number of inputs from me (e.g., cycle the handle, place the bullet), and then let the machinery work while I focus on verification that things are working properly (looking into every case, paying attention to the feel of the handle during the stroke, etc.).

I tried installing mine when I first got it. Couldn't get it to work. Thanks to the picture provided by @Sparky, I believe I know why. I don't think mine included the latch lever. Pulled the disconnect system off, and it ran just fine. The nice part of the Lee over Hornady is, it won't throw powder if there isn't a case present.
