What all you guys need is this chart below. . It lists the thread pitch of the most common seater stems and you can use the chart at the bottom to determine how far to screw it in or out depending on your initial measured OAL. If I turn a Lee die in a half turn, it seats the bullet 0.028 thousands deeper.
It helps to keep dummy cartridges that set your initial length to a known spot. I have one for every projectile I load once I establish OAL for that cartridge.
