I recently purchased a Classic Cast Turret press from Midway. I was setting it up this morning and so far I think I am going to like it quite a bit. However, I don't have a Lee Auto Disk powder measure. What I do have is three RCBS Uniflow powder measures. I'd much rather use one of my Uniflows on the turret rather than purchasing a Lee measure.

My problem is that I can't find a secure way to attach the Uniflow to the press that doesn't leave it completely in the way of the dies and safety prime system. I've got it kind of rigged up using a Lee powder through expander (I have never liked the Lee expander die) and an Auto Disk riser, but its not secure and I don't see it as being a long term solution. I suppose I could use the Uniflow to add powder off press, but I'd much rather find an on-press solution.

Anyone have any experience or suggestions?

TIA

The old Hornady Pro-Jector press had a powder adapter designed just for this. Works perfectly on the Lee turret press. Part number 392413, listed for $8.00 in the Pro-Jector manual. You need the sliding sleeves to match the cartridge size as well. The ones out of the current Hornady case activated powder drop also work. You might be able to get the part from Hornady. It is very solid, unlike the Lee bits. This retains the manual activation of the measure. You might also consider the Hornady case activated measure adapter. While I haven't tried it on the Lee press, can't see why it wouldn't work. Mine works well using an RCBS measure on an AP press.
