Lee Enfield Sight problems

Howdy all,
I bought a sporterized enfield from a friend. He had it at the range and attempted to adjust windage on the rear sight and said the screw wouldn’t move and started to strip. After soaking it in oil (and trying a little heat)… I only managed to make the screw worse. Any ideas???

Try putting some heat on it with a soldering iron or micro torch, If LocTite was used it needs to get to 400F to make it release. You will see smoke when you get to temp
