Had this one several years and it works fantastic for 4831 and 4064 but always leaked the fine powders a little. More than I was comfortable with.
Read some of the posts about lapping the cone making some improvement. I had some 600grit left over from a Wheeler barrel lapping kit and had a few minutes so I gave it a shot. Dabbed a little on, rotated it back and forth for about 4 or 5 minutes. Took a look and it all looked even inside. Swabbed it out with alcohol, let it dry and put it back together.
Ran several hoppers through of HP38 and Bullseye. Not a spec. Saw less than a .5gr deviation with those powders. Ran a hopper of 2400 through and the deviation was +/- .1 grain at the worse. What I noticed with the 2400 was that the deviation occurred as the hopper was getting low. When I topped it off, the drops tightened back up. So, keeping the fill pretty consistent may also help.
