I went with another single stage press for simplicity as I am only going to reload a couple of handgun cartridges for now. T

I am having trouble installing and figuring out the Lee Safety Primer Feed. The kit also included to "L" shaped metal parts with spring loaded inserts. I have no ideas what they are but assume they go to the priming or de-priming function some how. Any help would be appreciated as I used to use an Anniversary Press and hand priming tools, so am new to this press and primer. Thanks.

The L shaped part is the primer arm and the spring loaded screw attached to it is the primer cup. It is installed in the slotted side of the ram on the pin that runs through so it is like a hinge and cams as you lower the ram. When running your resizing/de-priming die it goes like this. Upstroke presses out old primer and resizes case. While holding the ram at full upstroke position you swing the safety primer down and drop a primer into the primer cup on the lever arm. On the downstroke the arm cams back into the ram positioning the primer under the case. At full down posiiton the new primer is pressed into the case. Make sense? PM me if this doesn't help and you could give me a call.

Thanks Foolsgold. I'll give it a shot and see how it goes. I may take you up on your offer. I can take apart and reassemble a Ruger MK II in my sleep, but this setup is new to me.
