Lee turret press wearing out after 1500 rds loaded

Lee equipment is not built for those who do a lot of reloading. It is built for those who get into the sport for a short time.

Um... so that’s not a thing...

Lee doesn’t make a progressive which competes with the Dillon or Hornady, but there’s nothing “single serving” about the LCT. My first LCT has hundreds of thousands of rounds on it, my second is already up over 35,000 rounds. I only bought the second so I could leave one set up for small primers, and the other set up for large. I have a very low cost Pro 1000 set up for 44mag and another for 223 which have also cranked out over 50,000rnds each.

It’s just silly when guys pull out these ridiculous claims about Lee gear just to support their elitist bias.

Yeah, NEVER rotate the turret press by hand when it's "a little out of alignment." See the video posted above to properly adjust it.

Lee equipment works. It's not as fast as a progressive, but it's simple. It's all in knowing how to adjust the presses and dies.

I have loaded over 15,000 rounds of handgun ammo on my Lee Classic Turret Press in a little over 4 years. I am on my 2nd little square plastic ratchet thing. Had the small primer arm break on me. I up!loaded a picture of the broken part to Lee Precision and they sent me a new one

Same here. Original parts. If you want to turn by hand, just remove the index rod and turn away, like you do with Dillon's non indexing models. I use the inline fabrication mod, which improves the performance in my view.

As far as the primer track, mine began to open up like that once, my "cure" was to press it back together. Strokes should be complete, no need to slam it. Stations can be skipped if your particular protocal requires it, just complete the stroke and don't slam it.

As far as the LCT press not bring for guys who load large amounts, that is total BS. You just need to be more clever than the press, and don't sweat the small stuff.
